Our founder Jake is an electrician by trade and is a CEC accredited installer with 12 years worth of electrical and solar experience. Jake founded JB Electrical and Solar in 2014 as he discovered a real need for honesty, reliability, and top quality workmanship within the industry. Our local focus means you deal direct with Jake our owner.
Jake takes great pride in his work and believes in always completing an installation that he would be happy to have on his own home.
Jake specialises is analysing your usage and property factors to determine an appropriately sized system that will dramatically reduce or put you in credit with your energy provider.
Amanda has studied in both the business and marketing fields and takes care of our technical and online presence. She assists with all our business related tasks and is currently studying Solar Design to ensure informed, timely and knowledgeable communication with our clients.

Austin has almost finished his apprenticeship and will soon be a fully qualified electrician. He has spent the majority of his electrical apprenticeship completing solar installations. His knowledge and skillset vastly outweighs his time spent in the solar industry. His quick thinking and attention to detail helps us ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.
Riley is our youngest team member who has a passion for all things solar. He is constantly asking and learning all he can from our other team members. He is a fast learner, quickly picking up the skills and knowledge required for our high quality solar installations.
